Isa obtained her JD from the Peter Allard School of Law at UBC and she began her articles in May 2026. Isa spent her 1L summer at Kitsilano Family Law as a Summer Law Student, as well as her 2L summer as a Summer Articling Student. During her time at Kitsilano Family Law, Isa has assisted with files involving international child abduction, high-conflict parenting matters, property division, support, and divorce. She has also assisted with out-of-court settlement processes including mediations, negotiations, and drafting separation agreements.

Isa also holds a Bachelor of Social Work from UBC with high distinction, which she obtained in 2021. Isa completed both her social work practicum, and clinical term in law school at Rise Women's Legal Centre, where she worked with women and gender-diverse folks, primarily survivors of family violence, to navigate their family law matters in various capacities. Prior to law school, Isa worked as a Family Law Advocate at MOSAIC where she supported low-income immigrants and newcomers to self-represent in the family law system, including in both Provincial and Supreme Courts. As an Advocate, she successfully assisted clients to obtain protection, divorce, and child support orders.

In her free time, Isa likes to spend time with her high-energy husky Leo discovering new trails on the North Shore. She also loves going to the gym, attending concerts, and trying out new restaurants around the city.
